ldn.

Mum and I went to London today, specifically to Cricklewood, where i'm probably going to live with one of my mum's old friends. The house is amazing, and i'm feeling a little spolit knowing i'm going to have such a big room(and wardrobe!!). All in all it was a lovely day.

In other news, i'd rather tomorrow never came.

Last night Liam and I went to see Counting Crows at the N.I.A. 'Nuff said' really, because if you know me at all you'll know i was like a kid on christmas eve just to be in the same room as Adam Duritz! But just in case: i bloody loved it.

Carl's Birthday

I forgot to blog anything about Carl's Birthday, and i'm writing about if more for my sake than anyone elses, not that i think i'll forget it any time soon.

Tuesday 5th May was Carl's Birthday! I met him outside work and we went to Nandos, which is becoming a regular occurance. After that, we got some beer and made our way to Wolverhampton, via train, where we rushed back to his to dropoff all our shit and then went straight to the Royal London to meet his friends. Unfortunately Arsenal had decided to play Man United that day as well, so finding anyone was quite a challenege! However we did, and even Rosie, Charlie and Rach were there which was a nice surprise.
We then took a break from the Royal and went to Babylon accompanied by Sammie, Andre(Sisco), Laura and Steve; all of them would definatley make it into the list of weirdest peopl i've ever met. After a few drinks and a lot of palm readings we went back to the royal to round up troops to Walkabout. All in all a lot of drinking was also done there, and a lot of dancing.
Coming out of walkabout Carl, impressively, stopped 4 big black men from haressing me, and ended up converting half of them to the idea of skinny jeans for boys. We stopped off to get some pizza, and got in to a taxi to go home.

We asked the taxi driver to stop off round the corner from Carl's were there's a abandoned pub garden, as we thought we could eat out pizza here whilst looking at the stars, which was lovely. However after jumping the wall from the pub garden with the intention of going home Carl realised someone in the Royal had taken his keys from him at the begining of the night.
So there we were, stuck in Wolverhampton with one bar left on both our phone, not a soul in sight, reasonably drunk, and very very cold!
It's a long story but somehow going to Andre's flat above the 'gayest pub' in Wolverhampton appeared as the best option. So we called for a taxi and a man who told us his name was "Jackie Chan" ( it turned out this man had drven carl numerous places) took us there. Upon arrival we were greeted by 'Shameless' on tv, gay porn stacked by the door, a snake in his bedroom, and sexual invitations a plenty. It's pretty fair to say my "i-can't-believe-we've-ended-up-here" glare did not go un-noticed on carl's part and he attempted to secure us somewhere to sleep away from Andre and Laura (unfortunately not before he had told us about previous lovers, his belief in spirits, and his powers as witch).
Of course as soon as we woke up we went to Topman to get Carl's keys back from Anneka who works there, and agreed to do nothing but sleep the rest of the day!

fuck you avril lavigne

On Frday Molly came to meet me after work! We went out to Subway City aided by a charming pair of cyber goths, and with the exception of the first hour it was actually amazing! I also had all of saturday to cure my hangover by plenty of coffees with both Molly, and Jess. In addition to the coffee, though i'm not sure it cured my head, Molly and I had Nandos for breakfast as well as having it the previous night before we went out. All in all it was a brilliant start to the bank holiday, though i fear the rest of it will be spent in my bed as i'm starting to feel pretty ill.
